mozaic background

Jul 12, 2011 at 5:09 PM

I know in the latest version you can change the background color of the mozaic but it would be better if you could customize a picture as the background.

Mosaic width equals two screen width of your monitor. Picture will be stretched and look ugly.

Then how about horisontal gradients ,light dark or visa versa

Jul 12, 2011 at 11:43 PM

How about more customization then. With various geometricals signs or diferent color in each part?

what about transparency? i have 4,000 wallpapers on a slideshow on my desktop so if i had mosaic in full screen and could make the background transparent enouth to create a dimming effect to the wallpapers, that would be perfect and i would imagen the desktop walpaper wouldn't scroll with the widgets so making mosaics background transparent would let us chose a picture viva normal desktop wallpaper

that's already possible

The only option is colors by default or custom colors. Just that.

Options: disable fullscreen mode.

id like to be able to scroll the widgets like in full screen mode and see wallpapers, mkaa00x how can the fullscreen background be made transparent, editing sourse code? it would be nice to include this as an option in the settings in a future release prehaps

it seems stealth has added transparency support in the latest source code, how is that used btw or dose it have to compiled or something?

what file and line do you edit mkaa00x?

Jul 13, 2011 at 10:20 PM

well in the XALM i found on the internet all you have to do is add two lines and that is what i did to get a mild looking theme -- translucent -- it's pretty obvious even though im just 13

is there any chance you could upload the file you edited and edited a few things but broke mosaic lol

im not a programmer in any sense of the word so that why im lost lol its something i want to learn though :)

Jul 17, 2011 at 5:31 PM

okay so stealth is working with xaml projects so... what  you have to do is open mainwindows.xaml and in the part where it says <window

</window/    you add a line saying

AllowsTransparency ="True"

and you're done ;P

Jul 17, 2011 at 5:35 PM

wait i mean

AllowsTransparency ="True"

Jul 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM

im then assuming i have to re compile the source code files with the new edited file, how is this done? thank you replying i hate to sound like such a noob but we all have to start at the bottom and learn our way up i guess :)

Jul 19, 2011 at 4:47 AM

ya lol ... i dont know... but i did it using a seperate program i found on the internet

Jul 19, 2011 at 7:27 AM
